What is Delta Force?

Delta Force is a free-to-play tactical first-person shooter developed by Team Jade and published on Steam by TiMi Studio Group; the mobile apps are published by Level Infinite. It launched on Steam on December 4, 2024, and later came to consoles and phones.

The game has two main modes. Operations is an extraction shooter: you pick an Operator with gadgets, loot maps, fight AI mercenaries, bosses and rival squads, and must reach an extraction point to keep what you found. Loot pays for upgrades to your Operations Center, such as stash space and new gear. Warfare is a large-scale mode with tanks, helicopters and boats; Steam describes 64-player battles on PC, while the App Store listing says 48 players.

Official updates in late 2026 added more modes: Detonation, a 5v5 bomb-defusal mode in beta since September 27, a 1v1 mode on October 9 and the Polaris Patrol mini-mode on October 16.

Is Delta Force free to play?

Yes. Steam lists Delta Force as Free To Play, the App Store and Google Play list it as free with in-app purchases, and the console version is free on the Xbox and PlayStation stores.

The Operations economy runs on Tekniq Alloy, which you earn in matches. In recent updates, a limited-time Tekniq Alloy Store sold Quantum Keys, Logistics Vouchers and a 7-day Advanced Secure Container card for that currency. MandelBricks, which hold weapon skins, are earned by playing matches. Events hand out free items too: the 2nd Anniversary update gave away 3,900 Limited-Time Delta Tickets and a free Legendary firearm bundle, and the October 2026 Halloween events traded event tokens for weapon skins, weapon XP tokens and Armament Vouchers.

On PC through Steam, you need a LEVEL INFINITE PASS account, which can be linked to your Steam account, and you must accept the Delta Force EULA.

Is Delta Force pay to win? What money buys

The premium currency is Delta Coins. On the US App Store, packs run from 60 Delta Coins for $0.99 to 6,480 for $99.99, as of October 30, 2026. Delta Coins or Delta Tickets pay for appearance draws such as Pumpkin Reaper, a non-replacement draw with no duplicate rewards per round, where the first draw costs 10 coins. Draw pools mix weapon skins, avatars and charms with Premium Weapon EXP Tokens, and the anniversary bundle draw also held Quantum Keys and Tactical Armament Vouchers. The official news posts do not list draw odds.

The Season Pass for September 8 to November 9, 2026 lists weapon skins, a Season Safe Box, Delta Tickets, supplies and Weapon EXP Tokens; the new Operator Rover sits on the free track, and the post points to in-game details for the paid unlock. The official site sums up Operations as "No Pay to Win, You Play to Win." Stores and the ESRB flag in-game purchases, and Google Play adds that they include random items.

Based on what the official stores sell, we rate it as mildly pay to win; we will check this again when we play it ourselves.
