What is Naraka: Bladepoint?

NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is a battle royale built around close-range melee combat, set in lands inspired by Far Eastern legends. Steam lists 24 Entertainment as developer and NetEase Games as publisher, with a PC release date of August 11, 2021. Players pick from a roster of heroes, each with their own skills and an Ultimate, and combine melee and ranged weapons, from katanas, dual blades, nunchucks and a staff to flying knives and muskets. Movement relies on a grappling hook, wall running and parkour.

The Xbox store lists online multiplayer for up to 60 players and online co-op for two to three. The store descriptions mention several competitive modes for teams, solo campaigns and seasonal content. The official Rift Traversal season notice lists rank tiers and Solo and Trios leaderboards with seasonal avatar and badge rewards. The season pack on sale in October 2026 is for the Devourer Season, and the latest patch notes on the official site are dated October 22, 2026.

Is Naraka: Bladepoint free to play?

Yes. NARAKA: BLADEPOINT switched to free to play on July 13, 2023, the same day it launched on PS5, according to the developer's free-to-play FAQ posted on Steam. Steam, the Xbox store and the PlayStation Store all list it as free.

That FAQ said "All game modes, weapons, heroes, and Souljades will be available to everyone for free". It also said heroes are bought with Hero Coins, which can be earned in-game. In 2023 it set a cap of 35 Hero Coins per week for new free players, which paid editions removed. The FAQ also said the Standard, Deluxe and Ultimate editions can be bought with Gold in-game.

The current Devourer Season Pack ($14.99 on Xbox and PlayStation) lists three privileges for buyers: Ranked Mode unlocked immediately, Hero Coin redemption without a limit, and the ability to create custom rooms. The store page does not say how free players unlock Ranked Mode.

Is Naraka: Bladepoint pay to win? What money buys

Gold is the premium currency. As of October 29, 2026, the Xbox store and the PlayStation Store list 120 Gold for $0.99, 1,280 for $9.99, 3,240 for $24.99, 6,560 for $49.99 and 12,960 for $99.99. The Devourer Season Pack costs $14.99 and includes an Advanced Hidden Treasure card, which unlocks the season's paid battle pass track, plus 600 Gold, 10 Serene Treasure Choice Gifts, 30 days of Baize's Blessing rewards, a head accessory and the privileges listed above.

Baize's Blessing ($4.99) gives 600 Gold at once and daily Baize Coins for a reward shop, stacking up to 180 days. Other add-ons include the $4.99 Moon-Blessed Pass, which unlocks an outfit set and a crossover discount voucher, and a $69.99 Refined Choice Gift. PEGI says the game sells cosmetic chests that give random skins, weapon skins, emotes and banners, and the Xbox and PlayStation labels list In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items). No official web page lists chest drop rates. Based on what the official stores sell, we rate it as mildly pay to win; we will check this again when we play it ourselves.

Naraka: Bladepoint on PC, Mac, consoles and mobile

On PC, NARAKA: BLADEPOINT is available on Steam, the Epic Games Store and the official site, which offers its own launcher and a full-client download. Steam lists Windows only; there is no macOS version.

On consoles, the game is on PS5, where the PlayStation Store labels it PS5 Pro Enhanced, and on Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S, where it is Optimized for Series X|S. The Xbox store lists cross-platform multiplayer and cross-platform co-op. Accounts are tied to the storefront and platform where they were created: the developer's 2023 FAQ said a PC account cannot be moved to PS5 and an Epic Games Store account cannot be moved to Steam.

There is no mobile version of this game in the US App Store or on Google Play. The Naraka+ app found in those stores is a separate app, not the battle royale.

Is Naraka: Bladepoint pay to win?

Most paid items are cosmetic, but the $14.99 Devourer Season Pack also unlocks Ranked Mode immediately and removes the limit on Hero Coin redemption, which speeds up access to heroes. The developer's 2023 FAQ said heroes and weapons are free to obtain. Based on what the official stores sell, we rate it as mildly pay to win; we will check this again when we play it ourselves.

Yes. It is on Steam, the Epic Games Store and the official launcher, Windows only. Steam asks for Windows 10 64-bit, 8 GB of RAM, a GTX 750 Ti class GPU and 90 GB of storage at minimum.

Why does Naraka: Bladepoint ask to disable Memory Integrity?

The Steam system requirements state that Windows Memory Integrity and VBS enablement must be disabled for both the minimum and recommended setups. The listing does not give a reason, so check the game's official help center before changing Windows security settings.

Can I move my Naraka: Bladepoint account between platforms?

According to the developer's 2023 free-to-play FAQ, no. Accounts are bound to the storefront and platform where they were created, so a PC account cannot move to PS5 and an Epic Games account cannot move to Steam.
