What is EverMerge?

EverMerge is a free-to-play merge puzzle game for iPhone, iPad and Android. Instead of fixed levels, it uses a wide-open board: you drag and combine matching pieces, three for a normal merge or five for a bonus, to evolve them into bigger items and to lift a cursed fog from the land. You mine stone, chop wood and harvest crops for building materials, and you build mansions and castles for fairy-tale characters, who bring quests and rewards.

The official site introduces Sleeping Beauty as your guide, along with Merlin, the Little Mermaid and the gnome builders Buck and Chuck, and the store listings add Cinderella and Peter Pan. At level 9 you unlock Mystic Isle, a habitat where you merge dragons, griffins, unicorns and other creatures. Daily quests, recipes and seasonal events add extra boards and rewards.

The game came out on May 4, 2020. JetSynthesys announced in February 2026 that it had acquired EverMerge and is now listed as the seller and developer on both stores.

Is EverMerge free to play?

Yes. EverMerge's help center says the game is free to play and that in-app purchases are not required. Both store listings show it as free with in-app purchases, and both note advertising.

The game's two main currencies are coins and rubies. Per the help center, you can collect both while playing or buy them in the store, use rubies to buy coins and use coins to buy energy. Energy, which you spend to cut trees, produce logs and interact with items, refills over time, and a free Scratch Ticket can be claimed four times a day for extra energy. Rubies also drop from chests and quests, and ruby dust can be combined into rubies.

The Merge Pass has a free reward track for all players. You earn one Merge Pass point for each unit of energy spent on the Main Island and move through up to 30 reward tiers in each 30-day season.

Is EverMerge pay to win? What money buys

As of October 30, 2026, the US App Store's in-app purchase list runs from a Peasant's Pouch for $1.99 to a Nobility's Vault for $19.99, with an Energy Pack for $2.99, Certified Gnomes for $3.99, a Hero Boost for $4.99 and Creature Starter Packs. Rubies buy coins and speed up build times.

The help center lists the Merge Pass at $7.99 and Merge Pass Plus at $14.99 per 30-day season. Plus adds double pass progress, build timers that run twice as fast, 15 rubies a day and Level 2 Booster, Star and Ruby Chests. The help center also explains how to cancel a Merge Pass subscription bought through the Aghanim web checkout, which renews automatically until you turn auto-renewal off.

Google Play's rating lists In-Game Purchases (Includes Random Items), and chests hold varying items, but the help center does not list drop rates. EverMerge has leaderboards, yet its official descriptions list no player-versus-player mode, so purchases speed up progress against the game itself.

Based on what the official stores sell, we rate it as mildly pay to win; we will check this again when we play it ourselves.

EverMerge on PC, Mac and mobile

There is no official way to play EverMerge on a PC. The help center says the game is available on iOS and Android mobile devices. Google Play does not offer it through Google Play Games on PC, and the App Store listing names only iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, with no Mac compatibility. The official website is informational and has no browser version.

On phones and tablets, EverMerge is on the App Store as EverMerge: Merge Games & Story and on Google Play as EverMerge: Fantasy Merge Games, and JetSynthesys runs both listings. The store package names still start with com.bigfishgames, a sign of the game's Big Fish Games origin.

To keep your progress when you change devices, connect a cloud save. JetSynthesys is phasing out Big Fish Games accounts for save sync, so the help center recommends linking Facebook, Apple on iOS or Google on Android and keeping a screenshot of your User Support ID. The App Store update notes also warn that uninstalling the game could cause progress loss.

EverMerge system requirements

The App Store listing requires iOS 15.0 or later on iPhone and iPod touch and iPadOS 15.0 or later on iPad, and it lists a 385 MB download. Google Play's listing asks for Android 7.0 and up.

The help center's compatibility article gives older, looser guidance. It says most iOS devices run the game smoothly and suggests at least iOS 12.0, and on Android it says EverMerge is more likely to run smoothly on Android 7.0 or higher, with performance much less stable on Android 4.0 to 6.0. Because the current App Store build needs iOS 15.0, the store listing is the minimum that applies today.

For older devices, the help center suggests closing other running apps, keeping the operating system up to date and installing the latest EverMerge version.

Games like EverMerge

These merge games from our catalog are also free on iOS and Android:

Merge Dragons!: Gram Games' merge puzzle, released in 2017 and run under Zynga, where you hatch and evolve dragons, clear more than 180 puzzle levels and heal a cursed land around your camp. Zynga publishes drop-rate tables for its random rewards, and its Royal Pass is sold per season rather than as a subscription.

Merge Magic!: Gram Games' 2019 merge game in which you hatch and evolve magical creatures, solve puzzle levels and restore a bewitched garden. Like Merge Dragons!, it mixes set levels with a home base, while EverMerge keeps everything on one open board.

FAQ

Is EverMerge free?

Yes. The help center says EverMerge is free to play and in-app purchases are not required. Optional purchases include rubies, coins, energy packs, starter packs and the Merge Pass ($7.99) or Merge Pass Plus ($14.99) per 30-day season, and the game shows ads.

Can you play EverMerge on PC?

Not officially. EverMerge's help center says it is available on iOS and Android mobile devices. It is not on Google Play Games for PC, and the App Store listing does not include Mac support. The official website has no browser version.

Who makes EverMerge now?

JetSynthesys, an India-based company, announced in February 2026 that it had acquired EverMerge, and it now runs both store listings. The game was first released under Big Fish Games, and Big Fish Games accounts for save sync are being phased out.

Does EverMerge have a subscription?

Yes, in one form. The help center explains how to cancel a Merge Pass subscription bought through the Aghanim web checkout, which renews until you turn auto-renewal off. The Merge Pass ($7.99) and Merge Pass Plus ($14.99) each cover a 30-day season.

Is EverMerge pay to win?

Rubies speed up builds, Merge Pass Plus doubles build speed, and Google Play flags random paid items, but the game lists no player battles. Based on what the official stores sell, we rate it as mildly pay to win; we will check this again when we play it ourselves.
